A meeting on Sept. 16 at 4 p.m. at the San Marcos Activity Center, 501 East Hopkins Street, will present the architectural plans for the Village Main building on the Village campus in San Marcos. Stakeholders are invited to attend the meeting and presentation on the building that will house a variety of services on the 29-acre campus located at the end Reimer Avenue near Hunter Road.
The Village Main will be home to the Family Justice Center, Community Action, Early Childhood Intervention (ECI)-Homespun and the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program.
The village’s large campus is slated to be a center for local non-profit organizations including the Hays County Area Food Bank and the Christian Federation of Police Officers-Police Athletic League (CFPO-PAL) youth sports. The center seeks to reduce duplication of services, increase effectiveness and provide comprehensive services to families in need.
Residents wishing to attend the meeting should RSVP to Amy Ledbetter Parham by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling (512) 558-1524.
