The Kyle Area Chamber of Commerce (KACC) will open up the summer season with a June 22 luncheon featuring Pedernales Electric Cooperative (PEC) Director Larry Landaker.
The luncheon take place in the Kimbro Building at Kyle Elementary School (500 West Blanco Street in Kyle) from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The chamber invites the general public, as well as KACC members. The luncheon menu will include a grilled chicken with poblano creme sauce over angel hair pasta. KACC asks those interested to RSVP to email@example.com no later than June 21 as seating will be limited.
Landaker, a Wimberley resident, will speak to KACC fresh off the PEC annual membership meeting, which will be held on June 19 in Johnson City. Landaker will provide comments regarding the cooperative’s future in a presentation aptly titled “PEC Looking Forward. What’s Next?“
PEC is an electric cooperative owned by the members it serves. It has been in the business of providing electric service since 1938. Providing electricity to more than 234,000 meters throughout 8,100 square miles of central Texas, PEC is the largest electric cooperative in the United States.
