Miller Middle School’s mixed choir earned high marks at the University Interscholastic League Concert and Sight-Reading Competition.

The Miller Middle School boys and girls mixed choir and women’s treble choir recently competed at the University Interscholastic League (UIL) concert and sight reading competition at the Hays CISD Performing Arts Center. Both choirs merited high marks, even though this is the first time Miller Middle School has competed in the event since 2005.
A score of “2” is considered excellent and a score of “1” is superior at the UIL event. The girls treble choir earned a 2 in their prepared concert program and a 1 in sight reading. The boys and girls mixed choir earned concert and sight- reading ratings of 2.
The girls treble choir was awarded a plaque, which is on display at the Miller Middle School front office.
Miller’s choir director is Dawn Sheridan-Reinhuber.
