STAFF REPORT
The entire student body of San Marcos Baptist Academy turned out in support of the school’s powder puff football game Tuesday.
The game between the freshman/junior girls and the sophomore/senior girls was exciting to those who were parched to see a little football.
Melanie Issacs, a junior, lead the “J-Fresh” squad to an 18-6 win over the sophomore/senior “Tuesday Night Lights” team at the academy’s Ingram/A+ FCU Stadium.
Spirit yells were conducted and led by a squad of male “cheerleaders.”
