Texas State puts on ‘The Servant of Two Masters’

Texas State’s Department of Theatre and Dance is putting on “The Servant of Two Masters” through Sunday.

Texas State’s Department of Theatre and Dance is presenting Carlo Goldini’s 18th century comedy, “The Servant of Two Masters,” Tuesday through Sunday.

Show times will be 7:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday on the main stage of the Theatre Center on the Texas State campus.

Directed by Michael Costello, head of acting and associate professor at Texas State, the classic comedy tells the story of a clever and mischievous servant, Arlecchino, who decides that two paydays are better than one and hires himself out to two different masters at the same time.  Chaos ensues as the servant attempts to juggle the demands of the two masters.

Tickets are $10 for general admission and $7 for Texas State students.  For additional information, contact (512) 245-2147.
