Goldini’s ‘The Servant of Two Masters’ staged at Texas State

The Texas State University Department of Theatre and Dance presents Carlo Goldini’s 18th century comedy, The Servant of Two Masters, April 20-25.

Show times will be 7:30 p.m. April 20-24 and 2 p.m. April 25 on the main stage of the Theatre Center, located at 430 Moon Street on campus.

Directed by Michael Costello, head of acting and associate professor at Texas State, this classic comedy tells the story of a clever and mischievous servant, Arlecchino, who decides that two paydays are better than one and hires himself out to two different masters at the same time. While attempting to juggle the demands of these masters—two high-strung lovers—who have lost each other in an unfamiliar city, chaos ensues.

Tickets are on sale at the box office: $10 general admission and $7 for Texas State students. For additional information contact (512) 245-2147.
