The students at Hill Country Christian School got a breath-taking view from the dome of the capitol.
The Hill Country Christian School, 1401 Davis Lane, recently took its fifth grade class for a field trip to the state capitol in Austin. The students experienced a tour around the capitol and the state land office.
One of the many highlights of the trip was being allowed to climb to the top of the dome of the capitol building.
Not surprisingly, it was reported that the class found the view from the balconies at the top very impressive and enjoyed the facts and stories that were shared about the capitol.
