‘Dead Man’s Cell Phone’ dials up dark humor at Texas State

SUBMITTED REPORT

The Department of Theatre and Dance at Texas State University will present Sarah Ruhl’s “Dead Man’s Cell Phone,” April 8-10 at 7:30 p.m. and April 11 at 2 p.m. at the PSH Foundation Studio Theatre, a venue housed in the Texas State University Theatre Center.

Tickets will be $8 for general admission and $5 for students.

The “wildly imaginative comedy” tells the story of a woman forced to confront her own morality and ideals after she answers an incessantly ringing cell phone that belongs to a dead man.  Theatre graduate student Christine Tankersley will direct the play.
