Library book sale slated for weekend

The San Marcos Public Library Spring Used Book Sale will start its three day run on Friday from 10 a.m-6 p.m. at the VFW Hall, 1701 Hunter Road.

The sale continues Saturday and Sunday. The sale will be open on Saturday from 10 a.m.- 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 1-5 p.m.

While the choices of books are always better on Friday, Sunday will feature the lowest prices. On Friday, paperback books are $1 and hardcover books are $2. On Saturday, paperback books are 50¢ and hardcover books are $1. Finally, on Sunday, a whole bag of books is $5.

Volunteers are welcomed and are still needed for the sale. To volunteer for a shift, call the library at (512) 393-8200.
