The game times for Texas State’s softball series against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi this weekend at Bobcat Field have been changed, due to a rainy forecast.
The Bobcats and Corpus will play Saturday at 5 p.m. in a single game, then play a double header Sunday starting at noon.
The Bobcats have won eight of their last nine games, improving to 11-12. Not only are they tied for first place in the Southland Conference with Stephen F. Austin at 7-2, but they notched a 4-3 win against Baylor ten days ago.
Rain has forced Texas State to postpone or reschedule every game this week. The Bobcats and Texas Tech postponed a double header Tuesday in Lubbock due to a rainy forecast. Texas State said the games are unlikely to be made up.
Corpus has won five of its last eight, including a double header split with Texas A&M. Texas State is 23-9 all-time against the Islanders, who are 5-4 in the Southland Conference.Email | Print
