The San Marcos City Council recently recognized employees at local lighting manufacturer Philips/WideLight. The employees competed on teams to improve quality.

The team names reflect the lighting company’s products and the good-natured spirit of the teams — Team FPL Free, PDF-6, Team Glare Wars, Mythbusters, Cosmo Cadets and QIC Champion. Team FPL Free won the local competition and will now go on to higher level competition.
