The San Marcos Public Library, 625 East Hopkins Street, will host a class, “Understanding Your Credit Report,” Monday (Feb. 8) at 7 p.m.
Attendees will learn how to build credit, prevent identity theft and repair bad credit, as well as how a credit report impacts a person’s life.
Sponsored by the San Marcos Housing Authority, the Friends of the Library, and the San Marcos Public Library, the class is part of a series devoted to financial stability.
Attendees will receive free copies of 2008’s Quicken Starter Edition. Space in the class is limited to the first 25 students. Attendees are taken on a first come, first served basis.
