Men’s basketball conference opener rescheduled

The start time for the Texas State at UT Arlington men’s basketball game that is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 9, has been changed to 1 p.m.

The game is the first Southland Conference game in the 2009-10 season for both schools, and was originally scheduled for 7 p.m.

The start time was moved because of the NFL playoff game between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles is schedule for Saturday and the UTA campus serves as a main parking area for stadium employees.

By moving the game, fans wishing to attend the basketball game can avoid parking problems.
