Central Texas Medical Center celebrated the first baby born there this decade one hour and 19 minutes after midnight New Years Day.
Weighing in at 7 pounds, 5 ounces and measuring 19 inches long, Hailey Lillianna Hoke was born to first-time parents Marissa and Chris Hoke.
“We just feel incredibly excited and blessed. She is such a beautiful baby girl,” Chris Hoke said.
In 2009, more than 880 babies were delived at CTMC. A 64,000 square foot addition completed last year includes a Women’s Center with all private rooms and a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
