Clerk's office honored by mayor

STAFF REPORT

The San Marcos City Clerk’s Office received the the 2009 Five-Star Exemplary Local Registrar Vital Registration Award for excellence in processing birth and death certificates for the community. The office received its honor from the Texas Department of State Health Services.

This is the second year in a row the office has won the award.

Mayor Susan Narvaiz recently honored the Clerk’s Office for its Five-Star award.
