Library to hold home buyer workshop

The San Marcos Public Library, 625 East Hopkins Street, will host a free workshop about the home buying process on Dec. 14 at 6:30 p.m. The workshop could help participants realize their dreams of home ownership.
Knowledgeable experts will discuss the ins and outs of the home purchase process, from making an offer to closing the deal.
Participants will get their most pressing questions answered, like “How much home can I afford?” They will be guided by a professional through the often tangled snare of issues and find out the benefits of home ownership.
Attendees will receive a free copy of Quicken Starter Edition. The workshop is sponsored by the San Marcos First-Time Home Buyer Program, the San Marcos Housing Authority, 1836 Realty, Friends of the Library and Inspectexx Inspections.
