Canseco joins Braun law firm

The law firm Braun & Associates, with an office in Dripping Springs, has announced the addition of Susana Canseco as an associate attorney.
 
Canseco will begin work in the firm’s Dripping Springs office before joining the San Antonio office in 2010.
 
Canseco most recently served as a law clerk for Federal District Judge Lee Yeakel of the Western District of Texas. Canseco received her bachelor’s degree from Harvard and her Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law.
 
Canseco is a native of Del Rio, and Ciudad Acuña, Coahuila, Mexico, where her family operates a cattle ranch that has been in her family for five generations.
 
“Protecting and enjoying the land and its wildlife is a heritage that is taken most seriously by those who have the honor of owning a piece of it,” Canseco said. “My ranching background instilled in me a desire to preserve wildlife, water, and working farms and ranches.”
