Burleson honored as youth advocate

San Marcos Mayor Susan Narvaiz and the San Marcos City Council recently honored Michele Burleson for her selection by the city’s youth commission as December’s “Youth Advocate of the Month.”
Burleson received the title for her outreach work to San Marcos children in legal, scholarship, education and housing issues.
