The San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce (SMACC) is holding its next Eggs and Issues Breakfast next Thursday, Dec. 3. The topic will be the 2035 transportation plan being developed by the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO).
The breakfast will take place at the San Marcos Activity Center. Registration begins at 7 a.m., the breakfast line starts at 7:05 a.m. and the program will begin at 7:30 a.m.
The early bird price is $10 for chamber members if they RSVP before 5 p.m. on Dec. 1. Non-members and walk-ins pay $12.50 at the breakfast.
The guest speaker is to be announced. The breakfast is sponsored by Halff Associates, Inc.
CAMPO will guide the development of a comprehensive, multimodal regional transportation system to meet the Austin area’s needs up to 2035. The planning requires that citizens of Hays, Travis and Williamson Counties work together to address the transportation challenges and ensure that the Central Texas region continues to receive transportation funding through the U.S. Department of Transportation.
