City to hold meeting about downtown streets

The San Marcos capital improvements department will hold a public meeting next week to discuss plans for downtown streetscape improvements and improvements to paving and drainage along Hutchison Street and North LBJ Drive.
The meeting will be held at the San Marcos Activity Center, Room One, at 501 East Hopkins Street, on Monday, Nov. 30, at 6 p.m.
City staff and consultants from the firms of Bain Medina Bain, Inc., and Halff Associates, Inc., will present an overview of the project and answer questions from the public.
The city is encourages downtown area business owners and all interested citizens to attend.
