The Texas State volleyball team earned a trip to the semifinals in the Southland Conference Tournament with a three-game sweep against Southeastern Louisiana Friday afternoon.
The top-seeded Bobcats won 25-16, 25-15 and 25-20 as they cruised to their 11th straight victory.
The Bobcats will play their semifinal match at 1 p.m. Saturday against Lamar, which defeated Texas-Arlington in four games (21-25, 25-17, 25-21, 25-22).
Texas State is 20-12, while Lamar is 15-13. The tournament is being played at Texas-San Antonio.
Melinda Cave led the Bobcats Friday with seven kills and three service aces, while Amber Calhoun added five kills and four blocks.
