Denim and Diamonds celebration to aid Hays CISD

The eighth annual Denim and Diamonds celebration to benefit the Hays CISD Education Foundation will be held Saturday at 7 p.m at the Texas Disposal Systems Exotic Game Ranch Pavillion, 12200 Carl Road in Creedmoor. The event is the education foundation’s primary fundraiser.

The public is invited to attend the celebration,m which will include a catered dinner and dancing to the sounds of The Sophisticates. There will be a live and a silent auction in addition to a diamond raffle.

The silent auction will include baskets donated by each one of the 20 school campuses and will each have a theme. Most of the baskets are assembled by the Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) or booster organizations of the individual schools.

All proceeds from the event benefit the Hays CISD Education Foundation, a non-profit, tax-exempt organization supporting activities for Hays CISD students and teachers that are not funded by tax dollars.

Tickets to the event are $75 each or $135 per couple. They may be purchased at  http://hayscisd.revtrak.net.
