Sights and Sounds gala goes black and white

The annual Sights and Sounds of Christmas Gala will be held this year at the City of San Marcos Conference Center at the Embassy Suites Hotel, 1001 McCarty Lane. This year, the benefit for Sights and Sounds of Christmas will be themed as a Black and White Ball.

The gala begins at 6 p.m. on Dec. 2,  the eve of the Sounds and Sounds Festival. Guests will peruse and bid on items in the unique silent auction. A seated dinner of holiday cuisine will be followed by live entertainment.

Tickets to the event are $45 per person. Table sponsorships for eight guests are available for $450, or 10 guests for $550. Tickets are by reservation only. No tickets will be available at the door.

All proceeds from the gala will benefit the Sights and Sounds of Christmas, the much-loved three-day festival which, this year, begins on Dec. 3.

The 23rd annual festival features thousands of holiday lights, food, rides, crafts fr kids, angel choirs, historic Bethlehem animals and visits and photos with Jolly Old St. Nick.
