On Nov. 6, families and friends gathered to watch the graduation ceremony of 23 students from the Phoenix Learning Center. San Marcos CISD Assistant Superintendent Mike Abild presented the diplomas to the graduates, some of whom were graduating a year or more ahead of schedule. School board members Margie Villalpando and Jesse Ponce were also in attendance.
