Poetry reading explores ‘My Mind Has a Mind of Its Own’

The Common Experience at Texas State University will host “My Mind Has a Mind of Its Own,” a poetry reading Nov. 4 in the Lampasas Hall Honors Coffee Forum. The event is co-sponsored by the English Department and the University Honors Program at Texas State.

The San Marcos Jazz Trio will perform at 6 p.m., with poetry readings beginning at 7 p.m. The poets are English faculty members John Blair, Cyrus Cassells, Ogaga Ifowodo, Roger Jones, Kathleen Peirce, Miles Wilson and Steve Wilson Refreshments will be provided.
