Chamber gala features new awards

The San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce (SMACC) will have its annual awards gala and auction at the City of San Marcos Conference Center on Nov. 6, starting at 6 p.m.

The gala this year will spotlight both a live and a silent auction. The evening will include dinner, music, a featured speaker and many new awards. Proceeds from the evening underwrite the chamber’s plan of work for the coming year.

The theme for this year’s event is “Celebrating Heritage — Embracing Progress.”
