San Marcos CISD thinks pink

San Marcos CISD teachers, staff and bus drivers all wore pink for Breast Cancer Awareness month on Wednesday. Pictures are from Miller Middle School, the Phoenix Learning Center, DeZavala and Travis Elementary.

  1. Not to be a jerk or anything. But what about Prostate cancer awareness?

    Nearly as many men are diagnosed with prostate cancer every year as women are diagnosed with breast cancer. Yet everywhere I go, I see pink shirts, pink batteries, you name it. Where are the light blue products in support of raising funds for prostate cancer research?

    September is Prostate Cancer awareness month.

    Don’t get me wrong, I think it is great that breast cancer gets so much attention. I just wish that Men’s health concerns weren’t passed over like they don’t mean anything. Other than that problem we see the commercials for every fifteen minutes on TV…
