In association with SMTX.tv, Newstreamz has interviewed candidates for the San Marcos City Council in the Nov. 3 election.

The video interviews are available at http://smtx.tv. Simply click the link, then navigate to “New Archives,” then “Interviews,” then click “Candidate Interview.” A list of the candidates interviewed will then be shown.

Newstreamz Associate Editor Andy Sevilla interviewed Place 6 candidates Monica Garcia and John Thomaides, as well as Place 5 candidates Shaune Maycock and Ryan Thomason.

Place 6 candidate Anita Fuller declined to be interviewed and Place 5 candidate Lisa Marie Coppoletta was unable to be interviewed, citing scheduling conflicts.

Also, Monday night’s League of Women Voters (LWV) debate among city council candidates, as well as the Oct. 1 Council of Neighborhood Associations (CONA) debate, are still available at http://smtx.tv. After clicking the link, navigate to “New Archives” then to “Conference” then to “LWV Debate” or “CONA Debate.”

All debates and interviews will remain in the “New Archives” through the Nov. 3 election.
