Starting Thursday, the Lyndon B. Johnson Museum of San Marcos is changing its hours of operation. The museum will now be open from 1-5 p.m. on Wednesday and from 10 a.m.-5 p.m on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
While the museum will no longer be open on Sundays, it has expanded its daytime hours towards the end of the week.
Museum Director Scott Jordan has said that special tours can be arranged outside the scheduled open hours.
The current exhibit featuring early Texas pioneer Jose Policarpio “Polly” Rodriguez has been extended with help from TexasTejano.com. The exhibit, “A Tejano Son Of Texas” will be up through Saturday.
