Dr. James Baker of CTMC received the Physicians Recognition Award.

Dr. James T. Baker, an orthopedic surgeon on the staff at Central Texas Medical Center (CTMC) was recently named as the recipient of a 2010 American Medical Association (AMA) Physician’s Recognition Award (PRA). The PRA stands as the most widely accepted certificate for recognizing physician continuing medical education.
Dr. Baker is a graduate of Tulane School of Medicine. He was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He went on to complete his Orthopedic Residency at Baylor College of Medicine.
Established in 1968, the AMA PRA is awarded to physicians who demonstrate their commitment to staying current with advances in medicine by participating in certified continuing medical education activities.
