James Baker, an orthopedic surgeon on Central Texas Medical Center’s staff, was recently named as the recipient of the 2010 American Medical Association’s Physician’s Recognition Award.
The AMA established the PRA in 1968 and for the past 40 years has recognized physicians who demonstrate a commitment to continued education above the routine requirements.
Prior to joining CTMC’s medical staff, Dr. Baker graduated from Tulane School of Medicine and was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He went on to complete his Orthopedic Residency at Baylor College of Medicine.
