It's booksale time again!

It won’t be long until volunteers move donated books to the VFW Hall, 1701 Hunter Road, for the Friends of the Library’s big used book sale. The event is scheduled for Oct. 9, 10 and 11.

The Friday sale features paperbacks for $1 and hardcover books for $2. On Saturday, the prices are 50¢ for paperbacks and hardback for $1. On Sunday, a whole bag of books is only $5.

All proceeds from the sale benefit the San Marcos Public Library. Folks interested in volunteering to help with the sale can call 393-8200 to sign up for a shift.
