STAFF REPORT

On Sept. 25, representatives from the Target store in San Marcos donated a large supply of books to the Crockett Elementary School library. The donation was a part of Target’s community service and literacy support programs.

The books were delivered with “Everybody Loves A Library” stickers that were placed inside each book.

Since 1946, Target has given five percent of its income through community grants and education programs. Today, this amounts to more than $3 million a week.
