Prepare to see a few Texas H.O.G.s this weekend, and we don’t mean swine. The Texas State Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) members are having their state rally at the Hays County Civic Center Thursday through Saturday.
Organizers expect more than 4,000 riders from all over the state. They will be having pin “runs,” which are rides with a special pin given at completion, in different locales around the area.
The H.O.G. Rally will feature pro-riding demonstrations with Jerry Palladino. The renowned Biker Billy will demonstrate his cooking talents.
The rally has plans to visit Lockhart in a “pin run” for barbecue. Tattoo contests, chapter challenges and maintenance seminars are also scheduled. Bikers will parade through San Marcos on Saturday morning, staging their parade at Goodnight Middle School.
The event’s musical guests include Hal Ketchum, Mustang Sally, and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts.
The Texas State H.O.G. Rally events and concerts are only open to National members of the Harley Owners group. If you own a Harley, call (800) CLUB HOG, or visit hog.com to join.Email | Print
