CTMC plans gala for October

Grammy Award winning Womack will perform at TMC black tie gala.

The Central Texas Medical Center Foundation (CTMC) will hold its 17th Annual Stars of Texas Gala on Oct. 11 at the Embassy Suites Hotel and Convention Center. This year’s featured musical guest will be the Grammy Award winning, Jackson, TX-born, Lee Ann Womack.

There will also be a silent auction with several unique items at this black tie event.

“This year’s auction has something for everyone,” said CTMC Foundation Coordinator Jerilyn Miller. “From sports memorabilia, to an autographed guitar, to an ultimate beauty treatment, our items are already creating a buzz among our anticipated guests.”

The Stars of Texas Gala event also features a gourmet meal. The event will be emceed by KVUE-TV’s Melissa Gale.

CTMC has reserved a block of rooms at the Embassy Suites that are available at a special reduced rate for the night of the Gala.

Proceeds from the event will benefit CTMC’s new Women’s Center, slated to open in late November.
