All four water crossings that Hays County had closed in the Wimberley area due to water on the roads from rains were re-opened Friday morning.
The crossings are: CR 1492 at the Blanco River in the City of Wimberley, Little Arkansas Road at the Blanco River between Flite Acres Road and Fulton Ranch Road, Wayside Drive and Bendigo Lane in western Hays County, and Hidden Valley Road at the Blanco River between Flite Acres Road and Spoke Hollow Road.
Hays County officials are monitoring the rain situation and will open and close roads as necessary to help keep travelers safe.
