KYLE — Officials with the Seton Family of Doctors at Hays, Seton Medical Center Hays and city of Kyle community leaders, gathered on Sept. 4 to celebrate and tour the new Kyle Crossing medical office that will bring primary and specialty care physicians to the area.

The Seton Family of Doctors at Hays, a member of the Seton Family of Hospitals, offers a wide spectrum of clinical expertise in the new Kyle Crossing Medical Offices, located at 5103 Kyle Center Drive and across I-35 from Seton Medical Center Hays.

Kyle Area Chamber of Commerce officials, Kyle Mayor Mike Gonzalez, Kyle City Manager Tom Mattis, Seton associates and other community members participated in a ribbon cutting ceremony, then toured the 15,000-square-foot building. The facility houses OB/GYN, family medicine and internal medicine services, with plans to add a neurologist and oncologist in the near future.

“Hays County’s population has grown dramatically over the past few years, creating a demand for physicians to serve this developing community,” said Dr. Patrick Garcia, vice president of Medical Affairs, Seton Family of Hospitals – South Market. “The Seton Family of Doctors at Hays is pleased to work with the existing Hays County health care professionals to broaden the range of medical services now being offered to the community.”

Said Elaine Pate, Clinical Operation Manager, Seton Family of Doctors at Hays, “Currently, approximately 60 percent of residents in Hays and surrounding counties go outside of the area for their medical care. We want to provide quality health care right here in their own neighborhood.”

Appointments for services offered at Kyle Crossing Medical Office can be made by calling family medicine and internal medicine at (512) 504-0855, or OB/GYN at (512) 504-0851.
