PEC exec to undergo surgery

Pedernales Electric Cooperative (PEC) General Manager Juan Garza, diagnosed with a lesion on the left side of his brain, is scheduled for surgery Thursday morning to removal and examine the lesion.

Garza’s doctor indicated the procedure is straightforward and no complications are expected.

Garza and his family have expressed appreciation for the support they have already received.

“We will take this situation one day at a time,” Garza said. “I will remain in contact with my office and keep everyone informed of my condition. I am confident that the Cooperative is in good hands with its management team and our wonderful employees.”
