Saturday promises packed card at Thunderhill

KYLE – Thunderhill Raceway has numerous events for Saturday, including the Texas Super Racing Series (TSRS) Late Models, TSRS Allison Legacys, Pro Modifieds and Dwarf Car Racing Series of Texas.

The TSRS Late Model feature race will be called the TSRS Late Models “Rusty Bush Memorial 75,” in memory of Rusty Bush.

Thanks to PrismStream.com, will pfize the winner of the Pro Modified with an extra $100 in cash.  Also, JC Umscheid will again present the pole award to the Pro Modified top qualifier, which is a $200 Gift Certificate for Umscheid Race Services

The ASA A-Line Super Stocks will be the featured class on Aug. 29. Instead of heat races, the Super Stocks will have qualifying and out-of-car introductions. The current track record for the Super Stocks is 16.303 seconds, which was set by Cary Stapp on Sept. 29, 2007. Heat race points will be awarded for qualifying results.

The TSRS Allison Legacys feature race has been shortened to 30 laps or 25 minutes.

Kids’ bike races are included in the schedule – includes bicycles, tricycles and power wheels.
