Two teachers at Hays CISD’s Camino Real Elementary School, Cynthia A. Anderson and Deborah Fullman, have been awarded grants by the A+ Education Foundation.
The two Hays CISD teachers join the 64 teachers in Central Texas who received a combined $60,000 in grants awarded by the A+ Education Foundation.
“We are honored to be able to fund the innovative projects that educators have designed to improve the classroom for their students,” said Kerry A.S. Parker, president of the A+ Education Foundation. “We continue to see more and more demand for our grant program as other funds for these creative programs become scarcer in this economy.”
The A+ Education Foundation is a philanthropic arm of A+ Federal Credit Union. The foundation has awarded more than $181,000 in grants during the last five years.
