SMACC announces inter-city trip

The San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce (SMACC) has announced that the sixth annual Central Texas InterCity Visit is going to Phoenix on Oct. 25-27.

The InterCity visit is an undertaking by chambers of commerce in Central Texas. Among the other chambers participating are those from Austin, Buda, Kyle, Pflugerville, Round Rock, Bastrop, Elgin and Leander, among others.

The SMACC said the trip is a good opportunity to learn regional approaches to issues and to network with business, community and political leaders from Central Texas who will be on the trip.

The early bird price for the trip is $1,850 until Aug. 7. After that date, the price goes up to $1,950, then it increases to $2,050 after Sept. 4. The trip price includes briefing materials, airfare, ground transportation, accomodations and meals.
