Texas State’s “Stream Team” will hold the 2009 Meeting of the Monitors: Protecting and Improving Water Quality from July 17-19 at the New Braunfels T Bar M Resort Convention Center.
The three-day event will encourage communication and networking between volunteer monitors, regulatory agencies, community members and others. Water quality monitoring efforts will be honored, and the conference will provide professional development and networking opportunities.
The first day will focus on watershed protection and perspectives. Day two will be the actual meeting, which recognizes the work of volunteers. Finally, day three includes an optional half-day of training and field trips.
