David Ybarra and the LA Blues Band played for nearly two hours at SummerFest Saturday night leading up to the annual fireworks display at Plaza Park in San Marcos.

Hundreds of people turned out to San Marcos Plaza Park for the 29th annual SummerFest to celebrate the Fourth of July Saturday.

  1. Kudos to everybody involved in conducting SummerFest 2009 for our community! It was very nice and it certainly seemed like everybody attending enjoyed all aspects of the festivities.

  2. I’ll second that. This was a great event and ought to be a strong draw for people in neighboring towns looking for a day trip.
