Texas State outfielder Tyler Sibley has carted off another honor for his freshman season.
Baseball America, the game’s trade publication, named Sibley to its All-Freshman second team after Sibley helped the Bobcats to their first outright Southland Conference championship.
Sibley set the single-season run scoring record for Texas State and the Southland Conference with 77 runs in 2009.
With a .367 batting average, 10 homers and 38 RBI, Sibley made second team All-Southland Conference. Sibley also hit 13 doubles and stole 14 bases.Email | Print
