Partners in a one-stop social service center for San Marcos agencies will sign an agreement of their intent to establish the Village Main building on 29 acres located at Village of San Marcos on Reimer Avenue off Hunter Road.
The signing of the agreement will take place on Thursday, June 18 at 11 a.m. at the multi-purpose room at the San Marcos Activity Center, 501 E. Hopkins.
Signatories will include Early Childhood Intervention-Homespun, Community Action, Inc., San Marcos-Hays County Family Justice Center, and City of San Marcos Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC).
“The purpose for the Village of San Marcos is to bring non-profits together on one piece of property to benefit clients,” said Penny Dunn, Village President and a San Marcos Police Department commander. “Clients can avoid the problems of finding transportation and childcare through the current maze of services and concentrate on the resources they need to improve their lives.”
