Thunderhill Raceway hosting Kyle chamber race

Thunderhill Raceway is hosting chamber members at the track on Saturday, June 12, as part of the Kyle Area Chamber of Commerce 75 featuring Texas Super Racing Series late-models.

Grandstand gates will open at 5 p.m. Qualifying is scheduled for 5:30 p.m., followed by heat races at 6 p.m. and opening ceremonies and feature races immediately afterwards.

“The Central Texas community is fortunate to have a great family-oriented sporting attraction here in Kyle for the racing fans, tourists and area residents. I know it will be another great night at the races for all of us to enjoy,” said the chamber’s executive director Ray Hernandez who will serve as grand marshal of the race.

Thunderhill Raceway is a 3/8-mile, D-shaped asphalt oval track that’s located at 24801 IH-35, on the access road just north of San Marcos near Yarrington Road, Exit No. 210. For information, visit www.thunderhillraceway.com.
