KYLE – Thunderhill Raceway is hosting Kyle Area Chamber of Commerce (KACC) Night Saturday, when the Texas Super Racing Series (TSRS) returns.

The track is naming the 75-lap TSRS race, the KACC 75 after being the host to the June KACC Ambassador’s BASH (Business Advancement Social Hour) last week.  Guests were given the opportunity to network, while enjoying food, drinks, track tours and rides around the track in the pace car and in the passenger seat of some real race cars

To give chamber members even more exposure to the track, Thunderhill Raceway will be hosting the Kyle Area Chamber of Commerce Night at the Races this Saturday (June 13) and giving the VIP treatment to Chamber members.

The KACC 75, features the TSRS (Texas Super Racing Series) Late Models, known as the premier Late Model series in Texas.

KACC Executive Director Ray Hernandez will be the Grand Marshall for the event. Hernandez will give the “Start Your Engine” command and will wave the green flag for the first feature race of the night.

“I’m inviting everyone to come out and join us for an exciting night of racing at Thunderhill Raceway on Saturday,” Hernandez said. “The Central Texas community is fortunate to have a great family-oriented sporting attraction here in Kyle for the racing fans, tourists and area residents. I know it will be another great night at the races for all of us to enjoy.”

In addition to the TSRS Late Models, the TSRS Allison Legacys and the Dwarf Car Racing Series of Texas will be part of the racing agenda – along with the ASA A-Line Super Stocks, Thunder Stocks, Grand Stocks, Mini Stocks and NasKarts.

Grandstand gates will open at 5 p.m. Qualifying is scheduled for 5:30 p.m., followed by heat races at 6 p.m. and opening ceremonies and feature races immediately afterwards.

Thunderhill Raceway is a 3/8-mile, D-shaped asphalt oval track located at 24801 IH-35, on the access road in Kyle just north of San Marcos near Yarrington Road (Exit 210). For more information on Thunderhill Raceway, visit www.thunderhillraceway.com.
