SUBMITTED REPORT

Tanger Outlet Center in San Marcos contributed $1,000 each to four local schools on top of $11,425 earned through the TangerBucks fundraising campaign.

Through the program, participating schools are given all proceeds from sales of Tanger Savings Books and a proportional share of $1 from each Tanger Coupon Book sold at the company’s 33 shopping centers in 22 states. Local schools that participated this academic year, in order pictured, were San Marcos High School, Miller Junior High, Goodnight Junior High and DeZavala Elementary.

“We are pleased to provide our partner schools with the additional monetary support they need to help our children be even more successful,” said Michelle Carswell, General Manager of the Tanger Outlet Center in San Marcos.
