CSPAN-3 will air Texas State’s 2009 LBJ Distinguished Lecture on June 7 at 10 a.m.
The lecture, which originally took place on April 14, featured President Lyndon B. Johnson’s daughters Lynda Johnson Robb and Luci Baines Johnson. Harry Middleton, founding director of the LBJ Library and Museum, served as moderator.
The lecture was the cumulating event of a year-long celebration of the centennial Johnson’s birth. Texas State chose the theme “Civic Responsibility and the Legacy of LBJ” as the theme for its Common Experience program. Johnson graduated from what is now Texas State in 1930.
C-SPAN 3 is carried locally on Time-Warner Cable. The program will also be archived on C-SPAN’s website after it airs.Email | Print
