KYLE – Ground was broken on May 8 for a new 96,829 square-foot medical office building, which will be connected to the still under construction Seton Medical Center Hays.

The building will house an ambulatory surgery center and physician office space, and will feature an enclosed walkway connecting the second floor of the office building to the first floor of the hospital. The building will also have a canopy covered drop off area and a two-story atrium.

“We celebrate today the start of an outpatient care center that, along with the new hospital, will bring high quality healthcare to the citizens of Kyle and the surrounding area,” said Jim Bremner, president of BremnerDuke Healthcare.

BremnerDuke, a division of Duke Realty Corporation, is the developer of the building.

“BremnerDuke is pleased to have been selected to develop the first medical office building on the new Seton Medical Center Hays campus, and to be part of this exciting development,” said Bremner.

The building will have approximately 67,000 square feet available for lease, arrangements for which are being handled by BremnerDuke Vice President of Leasing John Huff.
